PISA and WTIA have been performing WiFi Security Survey (War-Driving) since 2002. We benchmark the situation every year and see an increasing use of WLAN routers as well as continuous improvement in the WLAN security awareness.

For Year 2009, the first part of the survey - Tramway War Driving will be carried out by 29 Nov. 2009. We welcome members of WTIA and PISA to join this event.

Time : 10 a.m to 1:00 p.m (Gathering at 9:45 a.m. at Whitty Street Tram Depot )
Route : Whitty Street Tram Depot > Causeway Bay > Shau Kei Wan > Whitty Street Tram Depot
Fee : Free of Charge for WTIA and PISA Members (Limited Seat)
Others : Particpants must bring a notebook computer equipped with WiFi
